Subject: [Users] Prism54 support for hostapd

Hello,

I am trying to load hostapd for a prism54 wireless card (driver from linux-2.6.25.2). I tried different hostapd versions but always get the message:

#hostapd -dd /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf 
Configuration file: /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
ctrl_interface_group=0
Opening raw packet socket for ifindex 6
ioctl(SIOCGIFINDEX): No such device
prism54 driver initialization failed.
eth2: Unable to setup interface.

Some research has shown that hostapd cannot open eth2ap which the driver does not provide. My question is if the driver has changed and if there is a hostapd enabled version.
